Does PaySlate require WooCommerce?
No. PaySlate is standalone and works with any WordPress site. If WooCommerce is present, PaySlate can use its existing Stripe or Square configuration.
What payment methods are supported?
Nineteen methods across six gateways: cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, PayPal and Venmo, and pay-later options like Klarna, Afterpay and Cash App Pay. Exact availability follows your gateway account, your country and your currency.
Can my client pay without creating an account?
Yes, and that is the point. Your client opens the invoice link and pays. There is no PaySlate account, no gateway account, and nothing for them to install.
Where is my data stored?
In your own WordPress database. Invoices, clients and payment records never leave your server. The only thing that goes out is the payment itself, straight to the gateway you connected.
Can I invoice a client in another country?
Yes. Bill in any currency your gateway supports. If you would rather not deal with EU VAT or US sales tax at all, use Paddle or Lemon Squeezy and the gateway becomes the seller of record and files it for you.
Is there a free version?
There is a core plugin on WordPress.org with the basics. Everything on this page, including all six gateways, subscriptions, the client portal and PDF export, is PaySlate Pro.
What happens when my licence ends?
